It's my turn to receive the "Bad Mom of the Year" award.
I took Marina to her 2 year checkup today and after looking at her immunization records, we are WAY behind. I completely forgot to take her to her 18 month appt! The appt before that was her 12 month and while we were there, a small boy went into respiratory arrest right there in one of the examination rooms. It was a tense situation and all of the other patients were (understandably) ignored. I ended up leaving shortly after and never went back! I totally forgot about vaccinations. Then I read a little too much about the possible link between Autism and vaccinations and purposely never went back! I got myself all freaked out.
Fast forward to today's appt, I got reemed and she got 5 shots. As extra punishment, I was ordered to get her blood drawn at the lab to check for anemia. Apparently, I give her too much milk.

Oh, I think i'll be in trouble too! Brody drinks a ton of milk & now that I think about it....I don't think he had a 18 mo. appt. either. Crap! I guess i'll call today. Thanks
