Ray & Chris had the day off today so I rounded everyone up, packed some snacks and we headed Downtown this morning. We were going to Metro it but the little ones were already buckled in and watching a movie in the car so we just drove. The white house is less than 20 miles from our house it was the traffic factor we were trying to avoid...Anyway, it was a beautiful morning, awesome breeze, minimal crowds. We got tons of pics and and has some awesome curbside tacos. We went into the American Museum of National History and saw lots of cool stuff. They wouldn't let Ray in because apparently they have some sort of silly rule...something about no guns allowed inside. (He was packing heat).
Anyway, it was a great day to be out and about. The downside to today was goose poop everywhere, traffic in Georgetown and the Hope Diamond was not BIG enough.

Looks like you had a great time.Great pics. Marina is so cute. I have been bugging Ed about taking the boys downtown all summer. I have one last chance next week. We will see.
