We went to our friends house for a 4th of July cookout. Even though we are at these friends house basically every saturday night, they usually host the 4th because they live within walking distance of a high school where the county has a huge fireworks show.Some neighbors of theirs had a little backyard show that was perfect for Marina. But I choose to stay behind with her, while everyone else walked over to the big show. The rain held off and everyone came back and we had dessert. (The kids and I made the flag cake together.)
I think next year will be Marina's year. Hope everyone had a safe night.

Please tell me this is not your beautiful CLEAN house! I think i'm going to quit my job so I can just clean.
