Watermelon

Here's the dumplings enjoying some watermelon for dessert. Please note Marina's paws in the watermelon. She has created a bit of an ant problem for us. She thinks its fun to throw fitsfulls of food on the floor just about every meal that is served. I want to ring her little neck. If there was a way to intravenously feed this kid, I would. 

Did I mention I had to let our Cleaning Lady go? God I loved her.  I considered switching teams for this woman. Yeah, we just plain couldn't afford her anymore. I mean, I can barely afford to groceries or to fill up the tank, let alone pay a cleaning lady to come clean our house when I could very well do it myself!  I mean, that would be like Ray cutting back on his Raven's games, or Nascar races because he could very well watch them on this big screen he had to have, right? Am I right? Can I get a hell yeah? Anyone?

Anyway. Because Marina likes to drop clumps of food on the floor everyday and despite my best efforts to keep it wiped up and mopped, we still have ants. It's unfortunate.

So, I'm having the cleaning lady back over on Thursday for "coffee" and just to "talk" and maybe she will give me some tips on how to keep it clean. I might just go ahead and take her advice and clean the entire house that very same day! We'll have to see....
