Note: Vincent has a black eye.
Yeah, he ran into a wall. Really. He did. It is always something with these kids. Marina has had an equal amount of injuries as Vincent and she is 20 months to his 4 years.
I guess, they take after me in that sense. If it wasn't stitches, I was plagued with broken bones, or burns or skin graphs. My parents always said I was an "airhead" and "clutzy" but I liked to think of myself as "misunderstood" and a "risktaker".
Anyway, I find it comical when other parents try to nonchalantly follow Vincent over to the swings, kick around some mulch and then ask Vincent "What happened to your eye?" Thank God he can TALK!
And seriously, to all of you parents who take your kid to the ER for every little thing, seriously, could you not? That's what Doctor offices are for and they now have a little place called "Nighttime Pediatrics" for things like 10pm Ear Infections. When I have to take my kid to the ER, who is bleeding profusley from the head because he is kind of "clutzy", I'd love to not wait 4 hours because people like you are clogging up the system.
Thank you.
Rant over.
Carry on.
