Sicko

Marina is a sicko. She has hand, mouth and foot disease which is viral and the bad news is, they don't give anything for that (at least, not at her age). It just has to run it's course. I've been pumping her up with Motrin to keep the fever at bay and she has only vomited once, and it wasn't pretty. The Doc says it will last 5 days and anyone can get it, even adults.  Hmmm..

I've been thinking about infecting myself purposely, to lose a couple lbs and to take a much needed mental health vacation from this never-ending job. It should work out because after tomorrow, Ray already has 14 days off and HE can get up with the kids, take them to the beach, cook dinner, referee, bathe, change, and do laundry all while I'm "sick in bed". Then, whenever they leave I can get on the laptop and check out Facebook, my new addiction with no interruptions! That's what I call a vacation!
